Welcome to the Arizona Center for Advanced Medicine.

We are a holistic medical practice led by Martha Grout, MD, MD(H). Dr. Grout has two decades in emergency medicine, and for the last decade, she has been a homeopathic physician. Dr. Grout and her team are dedicated to the natural treatment of chronic disease – diabetes, ADHD, ADD, autism, arthritis, asthma, fatigue, fibromyalgia, irritable bowel, heart disease, high cholesterol, multiple chemical sensitivities – to name a few.

The Arizona Center for Advanced Medicine is the only medical facility in the Southwest that can custom make preservative-free allergy remedies. Additionally, our clinic in the Phoenix-Scottsdale, Arizona area was built to be environmentally friendly.

We blend conventional Western medicine with a wide variety of advanced modalities of complementary and alternative

medicine for diagnosis and treatment. Because we look at the body as a whole, we include brain training in our armament of therapies. We have partnered with Brain Advantage™, providing an HEG-based biofeedback program to increase the blood supply to the frontal lobes, thus helping the brain to increase its neural connections and heal its dysfunctions. After about half the number of sessions typically used for the older style of EEG-biofeedback training, our patients achieve permanent gains in brain function. We've seen great results with mild cognitive impairment, ADD, head injury, depression, anxiety and "brain fog" that goes hand-in-hand with so many chronic diseases.

We address the fundamental causes of health and illness - in both the body and the mind - rather than relying on drugs and surgery to manage a disease.
